Today was kind of worthless. I got up really late, I ate a burrito(FREE burrito), gorged on dark chocolate peanut M&M's from the girlfriend, played Borderlands, and installed a retail copy of Windows 7 on my laptop.
Oh, and now it's 3am and I just finished updating DumbLicensePlates.com and I have work in 4 hours. The weekend was kind of nuts though. Halloween in NYC is kind of ridiculous.

Shameless self-promotion
Still updating the site many times a day. Keep getting ideas for other sites, but I wanna try to focus on this one for now. Though there are some funny domains available.
You'd still better be checking out DumbLicensePlates.com. Because it's awesome. :<

I found out what I want to do with the rest of my life. Now, to make it actually happen.(That's the hard part)
Gonna be good times I hope. Gimme a call when you wanna hang, city people.
How have I not heard Ghost House earlier?
Cody... Cody...
Cody... Cody...
The chip is having issues and doesn't like to boot. At all. So I guess that means I gotta go back next weekend and have them take a look at it or something. Sighhh.
Today was really cool. Got my white PS2 slim modded and met a bunch of Cinthia's friends. And then went to their high school reunion, pretending to be from their school and jumping in a bunch of pictures that random people were taking.
I was the young lad who missed a lot of school, due to illness.

Just came up with a comic that could make it to the front page of digg without a problem, Seriously on a roll.
DDR Universe 3 is the best DDR that has come out since Extreme. No questions asked. Amazing steps and songs. A+++
I just had a really good idea for a movie. Like, a really good idea for a movie. One that's so good, I know that someone must have done it already. Seriously.
I guess I fixed my laptop battery. Go me!
Screw everything else about Microsoft's press conference. Give me more info on Natal.
It's that time again! Let's do this.
Microsoft:
Microsoft told everyone to watch their conference this year, and I think there will be some big news. Well, a lot of big news. Shootin' around the rumor mill are as follows:
- Metal Gear on 360
- Motion capture peripheral
Those are the two big ones, so let's go over each!
Metal Gear on 360: This game cost a lot of money to make, let's be clear. Let's also note that most 3rd party "exclusive" games that came out for 360 eventually went the way of the PS3. Eternal Sonata and Bioshock are some such games. And this is because if you have a completely finished game and a load of people stuck on another platform, drooling to play it, it makes all the financial sense in the world to port it.
Now that that's out of the way, let's put on our tinfoil hats.
1) Is MGS4 a timed exclusive? Remember a while back when there were a few articles published, promising that MGS4 was coming to 360?(I distinctly remember one on Destructoid that got taken down) What happened to that?
2) The teaser countdown was apparently figured out, and supposedly will finally end on the day of Microsoft's Press Conference.
3) The digital "5" on the website could easily be an "S", designating a MGS4: Subs___ release.
4) That 360 Dev Kit that was sitting in Kojima's office during an interview?
5) Gaymotron 6000?
Point is, I was always skeptical about MGS4 being a PS3 exclusive, since so few 3rd party games are these days. But I guess we'll just have to see.
Motion controls: Remember a while ago, where Bill Gates was saying something like using a tennis racquet like a sword in a videogame? Well, remember that statement, and check out the rumors about possible motion capture controls for the 360. Do I think it's authentic? I do. I do indeed. I'm thinking it'll be sort of a lower key announcement, sorta like "You're in the Movies" last year, and since no games obviously support it yet. Sort of a "watch out for this thing in the near future!" kind of announcement. But yeah, I think it's real. Whether or not it works or is fun? That is a different story.
That's alls I got. I'll do some Sony lovin' later. But let's just say, I'm thinking it's going to be redesign city over there.
Thoughts?

I figure it's a long shot, but does anyone have an old Verizon Phone they don't use anymore? I was planning on sticking with my old one until my contract expired and possibly switching carriers. But I reeeally don't wanna don't wanna spend a few hundred on something I'm just going to replace in 6 months anyway. :\
Anyone? Anyone?
Anyone? Anyone?
Six Flags was amazing. Rode Nitro 3 times, Rolling Thunder 2 times, El Toro, Batman, Scream machine 3 times, and rode the teacups.
But(I'm sure anyone who went on this trip with me is sick of hearing this), lost my phone on Nitro. So don't try to call it cuz it pretty much fell like 250 feet down or something and is probably smashed to a bajillion pieces.

I'm getting a bigger tax return than I thought.
Considering I have access to arcade-caliber software for it, should I get a DTXPlorer? After discounts from my sister, and taxes, it'd be about 600 dollars. And that's less than half of my return. :\
Good idea? Bad Idea?

I used to go to the local SciFi convention since I was... like... 10? Anyway, I stopped going once I hit college(Save for that one year where I flew home for it), but it's this weekend! So I'm definitely going and having a fun time. I hope. Who else is going? That still... lives on Long Island...?
Oh and I'm also building a MicroATX computer now. I want a nice little portable fellow that I can use with my TV for movies and with certain programs.
So this guy is running an AMD 45 Watt 5050e processor, 3450 ATi card, 2 gigs of DDR800, and a 200 GB HDD in a tiny case. It has built-in Realtek sound, btw. Just ordered the stuff, so it should be built by Friday, hopefully. I have a spare PCI wireless card to toss in, also, but I might need to mod the bracket to make it low-profile. Somehow. :p
